Montgomery Higher Education Consortium
The Montgomery Higher Education Consortium is a partnership formed to promote cooperation in the service offered by the Montgomery area higher education community.
Library Resources
- Students, faculty, and staff of each participating institution, with proper identification, will have access to all library materials at other participating institutions on the same terms as their peers at that institution.
- Each participating institution will provide direct access to their on-line catalogs from at least one location at each participating institution's library. Where feasible, dial-up access should be provided from any remote site.
- While each institution remains responsible for developing basic resource collections in support of their educational offerings; opportunities will be sought to cooperate in collection development to reduce unnecessary duplication.
- Each institution will be responsible for insuring the return of any material borrowed by their students, faculty, or staff under the terms of the consortium or, if the material is not returnable, the financial reimbursement of the institution suffering loss.
