Newspaper Clipping Binders

The newspaper clipping binder project was initiated by librarian Patria Singleton with Special Collections Assistant Denise Martin compiling most of the volumes. The newspaper clippings have been assembled according to a theme, placed in chronological order, and then placed in binders. While the clipping rely heavily on the Montgomery Advertiser and the Alabama Journal, they are also drawn from dozens of periodicals throughout the nation.
